“Fuel,” Formerly “Fields of Fuel,” Fourwalls

Great photos from the opening of Josh Tickell’s award winning documentary film, Fuel, may be seen at The Fuel Film website. The FAQ page introduces a variety of alternative energy methods and their advantages.

The trailer for Fuel’s previous incarnation as Fields of Fuel is no longer available, but unless I’m misunderemembering, the new one takes better advantage of clips featuring the celebrity laden cast. The list at my previous blog post includes (linkbait alert!) Barbara Boxer, Richard Branson, Sheryl Crow, Laurie David, Larry David, James Gennaro, Larry Hagman, Woody Harrelson, Jay Inslee, Jack Johnson, Bud McFarlane, Willie Nelson, Director Josh Tickell, Neil Young and Jim Woolsey.

Read and believe the following message from the creator:

“Hi,”

“My Sundance Audience Award winning film FUEL, which is about America’s dependency on foreign oil and the search for alternative energy, is out now in Portland. It will also be out in Seattle and Austin this friday.”

“If you want to see FUEL in your city, request it at your local theater.”

    Hi J ~

Thanks so much for passing on the info to people!

FYI, we’re not actually fourwalling, we’re booking theaters like any other studio pic would do. Which makes it that much more important that people go see it since we aren’t backed by a major studio. We’re playing in Portland now, and opening in Seattle and Austin on Friday. Our ability to open in other cities depends on people going and seeing it in these theaters. So please tell everyone you can to go see it.

We just found out 2 nights ago that we got shortlisted for the Academy Awards….

    With love and light,

    Rebecca Harrell
