Internet sensation Hank Green’s personal site is more interesting than the usual boring resume page. And it links to his YouTube channel, where you can see proof of his sensationhood:
A commenter at Digg cited a useful comparison of bulbs at Wikipedia to answer another commenter’s enthusiasm for LEDs over CFLs.
I’ve discussed LEDs here before, and have found them the best option for portable low light, low power operation. One shake flashlight I bought at a truck stop keeps shining for hours after shaking, with no battery. Awesome. Is that a real enough product for you, EcoGeeks? I still have my Y2K preparedness wind-up radio. It comes in handy on occasion.
