PermaKent Permaculture Ideas of J. Kent Hastings

The co-author of the permaculture design title Edible Forest Gardens (2 volume set), Ed Toensmeier, has a new book out called Perennial Vegetables.

The publisher, Chelsea Green, describes it further in the subtitle:

Cindy Dyer of the Garden Muse blog photographed Toensmeier receiving an American Horticultural Society Book Award. She writes about the book’s subject matter:

“. . .my reaction was pretty much what most people would say—”there are perennial vegetables?” I knew that artichokes were perennial, but had no idea there were so many others.”
